We’re reading Jack Halberstam’s Gaga Feminism for our February meeting. You’ll find a pdf of the first chapter, “Gaga Feminism for Beginners” below. We do encourage you to read the whole book–it’s a quick an interesting read!

November Meeting 11/20 at 7:30

Our reading for November is Laura Micciche’s chapter “Feminist Pedagogies.” We’re interested in discussing feminism in the classroom and we ask that everyone come prepared to discuss activities or lessons that they have found particularly useful.

October Meeting

We will be reading from Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie’s short story collection, The Thing Around Your Neck.  We ask that those planning to attend read the title story and 1-2 others (if not the entire collection!).

Also, if you have yet to watch Adichie’s “We Should all be Feminists” TED Talk, we encourage everyone to check it out!
